AAHM is located at Midland International Airport in Midland, Texas, and is

- Cavanaugh Flight Museum
A non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to promoting aviation
studies and to perpetuating America's aviation heritage. The museum restores,

- Duxford Imperial War
Museum 180 aircraft on show: biplanes, Spitfires, Gulf War jets, and
historic aircraft. The American Air Museum at Duxford and houses a collection
of historic American combat aircraft.
- Empire State Aerosciences Museum
Outdoor displays of restored aircraft and indoor displays of models, dioramas,
and artifacts, including a mockup of the plane flown in Anelia Earhart's ill
fated flight around the world, and a replica of the vonPomer Pusher, an early
example of powered flight. Programs for youngsters include hands-on
activities in model building, rocket construction and launching, and study of
the princilples of flight. Offered for Adults are ground schools in
preparation for the Private Pilot and Instrument Rating written exams required

- The Evergreen Aviation Museum A
121,000 square foot facility in McMinnville, Oregon, featuring the famous
Hughes "Spruce Goose" Flying Boat, an SR-71, a 1903 Wright Flyer replica, a
C-130 cargo plane, a B-17, quite a few fighters and trainers, and general
aviation and other aircraft.
- Experimental Breeder
Reactor - I In the 1950's, there was an attempt to design atom-powered
aircraft. Too heavy and lacking the shielding necessary to protect the
pilots, they never got off the ground. (As far as we know!) EBR-I is the
first atomic reactor to generate electricity. Two X-39 atomic aircraft

Aviation Museum Covering the history of Maryland aviation, concentrating
